| 20 August 2010 | Venue bidding opens | Bid proposals from individuals/groups to meet/exceed the 2011 venue requirements. All bids to be posted to the WordCamp UK mailing list (registration required). |
| 15 December 2010 | Venue bidding closes | Bidding closes 1200 (midday) GMT (Please note the date has been extended from the original 30 September 2010 to allow further time for new bids). |
| 16 December 2010 | Venue selection opens | Refer to WordCamp UK mailing list (registration required). |
