My WordPress skills are pretty broad! I have developed a number of plugins, widgets, and customised themes for people. I originally wrote the '''links/link manager/link categories''', the '''options/settings''', and the '''excerpt functionality''' in WordPress, along with numerous other tweaks and bug fixes. There used to be geo-tagging support (though it disappeared at some point) that I also integrated into WP. I have a lot of PHP experience, and am completely up-to-date with (x)HMTL, JavaScript, and CSS (though I'm no designer). I am passionate about '''accessibility''', '''standards''', and '''usability'''.

In my current day-job, I code mostly in Java, though I also run a wiki, CVS and Subversion repositories, bbPress forum, and a number of custom written PHP/Web apps for the development department. I have also designed and implemented a project for delivering context-sensitive on-line help in a WordPress framework. I do a lot of work with XML, web services, database connectivity, etc. and have a passion for '''automated testing'''.

WordPress Skills

As the co-founding developer of WordPress, my WordPress skills are pretty broad! I have developed a number of plugins, widgets, and customised themes for people. I originally wrote the links/link manager/link categories, the options/settings, and the excerpt functionality in WordPress, along with numerous other tweaks and bug fixes. There used to be geo-tagging support (though it disappeared at some point) that I also integrated into WP. I have a lot of PHP experience, and am completely up-to-date with (x)HMTL, JavaScript, and CSS (though I'm no designer). I am passionate about accessibility, web standards, and usability.

I run my own company zed1.com developing web sites and specialising in WordPress.

My CV is available in a number of formats on-line at http://zed1.com/mike-little-cv.html
