| 11 December 2011 | 2011 venue bid selection closes | Decision to be reached by 2359 GMT |
| 12 December 2011 | Selected venue announced followed by WordCamp Central processing | Announcement of selection made on the WordCamp UK mailing list. Selection subject to WordCamp Central confirmation |
