26 November 2011 Venue bidding closes Bidding closes 1200 (midday) GMT.
27 November 2011 2011 venue bid selection opens Discussion on bids and selection of the winner conducted on the WordCamp UK mailing list (registration required).
11 December 2011 2011 venue bid selection closes Decision to be reached by 2359 GMT
12 December 2011 Selected venue announced followed by WordCamp Central processing Announcement of selection made on the WordCamp UK mailing list. Selection subject to WordCamp Central confirmation
27 January 2012 Selected venue feedback by WordCamp Central Feedback communicated to the WordCamp UK mailing list
28 January 2012 Venue bookings and other arrangements start to be made by winning bidders and the Core Group. Call for sponsors.
27 February 2012 Futher content ideas invited. Content ideas invited on WordCamp UK mailing list
TBA April 2012 Running order version 1 issued
13 May 2012 2012 Edinburgh WordCamp site launches; Early Bird (discount) Ticket and Microsponsor sales start.
1 June 2012 Early Bird Ticket sales end; Standard (full price) Ticket sales start
TBA July 2012 Ticket sales with t-shirts end Tickets sales will continue after this date but will not include some aspects that require advance notice
